House Beautiful July/ August 2018

a project of ours in montecito is on the cover of the new house beautiful. it’s always a joy to see project come to life and take on a whole story of it’s own.

this is a story of helping a long term client update her vacation home. keeping what she loves, moving things around, then layering on lots of antiques, beautiful fabrics (mostly blue and green), miles of trims, textures galore and an eclectic mix of this and that.

the best part of this story is that you don’t have to completely start over when updating your home, all you just need to do is just hit refresh.

thank you house beautiful, thank you to my team, my clients, and special thanks to my constant creative partner amy neunsinger for these beautiful photographs.

i think i’m feeling inspired by all the pretty fall 2018 couture collections. the pretty easter pastels at Giambattista valli mixed with bunny williams interiors, style icon jackie, and blooming green houses make up this weeks favorite pretty pins.

Valentino Fall 2018 Couture

i’m almost certain that when kaia gerber walked out in that pink feathered valentino fall 2018 couture dress more than a few people had to have fallen out of their chairs. her hair, her skin and that dress was epic. glamour with a capital “g”, drama with a capital “d” and beautiful with a capital “b’.

congrats to pierpaolo piccioli on the wonderful collection. it was almost as good as his last couture collection, spring 2017, and that’s saying a lot because i believe that was one of the best couture collections of all time, an absolute triumph!!
