Atelier AM

malibu has been on my mind lately for a few reasons. we love driving over to malibu ever once and a while to have lunch and spend time on the beach. it’s especially fun during the summer. i’ve been lucky to have had a few projects in malibu. such an inspiring place to work and be.

i came across this malibu project by atelier am this weekend. isn’t it great? atelier am always curates the perfect mix of furnishings, things, textures and patinas. whats refreshing is the subtle restraint in every detail. the risk might be spaces that feel cold or plain, however, it’s actually the opposite, everything feels comfortable, inviting and relaxed.

it doesn’t go unnoticed that the colors and textures in this project feel inspired by the beach, the sand, and the wind ….can’t you see it? it’s malibu.
