DYNAMIC DUO

i haven’t seen anything this chic in a long time….

miles redd and gil schafer have partnered again- oh what a duo! this time on a san francisco home originally built in the early 1900’s. the home was just featured in the newest architectural digest. photogtraphs by trevor tondro

i’m a fan of miles and fan of gil’s. i love everything they do. i know them both pretty well. they are such gentlemen. both seem like they are from another time. miles interiors exude glamour and style, gil’s architecture is refined and elegant. when you put them together this is what you get, a home that looks and feels like it’s been around forever, full of details, layers and unimaginable beauty.

this house is really special. special people live there. people who love design, antiques, architecture, history, art and beauty. very rare these days, especially with younger people. in some ways the way this young family lives feels modern, i guess because not many others understand how to do it.

it’s so refreshing to see something so beautiful that looks like it’s from another time, but on the other hand so relevant and so modern. but this is not a surprise since it was at the hands of miles and gil, after all they are the design world’s dynamic duo.
