last night i was at a fabulous dinner party hosted by wendy stark welcoming jackie and jean-charles de ravenel to L.A. i sat beside interior designer lauren king. we talked about meditation, yoga, les bon bons and traditional design. so refreshing to meet someone in L.A. who loves classic design as much as i do.

lauren’s home in holmby hills is a lesson in classic design and traditional decor. the house was featured in architectural digest several years ago/ take a tour here. i know you will love it, it’s pretty close to perfect- so beautiful!

the house was originally built in 1938 on 2 acres and has a long list of influential owners. lauren took on a five and half year renovation of the house with the help of oscar shamanian, landscape designer nancy powers and builder peter mccoy, peter was also as our table last night.

loved spending time with lauren last night. loved chatting with her about traditional design- which we both love!
