today is the first monday in may, that means tonight is the most anticipated fashion event of the year, the met gala.

this year the costume institute will celebrate the work and design of japanese designer rei kawakubo of comme des garcons, but before we do, i have to take us back to the 2015 gala that celebrated china: through the looking glass. the party was beautiful! the gala was swathed in de gournay, bamboo and fresh cut flowers. i can’t wait to see what they come up with this year!!
