we installed holiday house a 28 room hotel in palm springs this week. such a fun experience. we are really proud of how it all turned out, a mid century mix of blue and white and natural textures. it’s vibrant, happy, comfortable, and if i say so myself, very cool!

the owners of the hotel love art and have a very impressive and vast collection. i have to say the layer of art is truly what makes the hotel so unique and special.

david hockney, his art and his book with taschen was a great source of inspiration. the way hockney used color and his love of california resonated in our concepting and how the layers in the hotel evolved.

it’s been a fun week, we are so i love with holiday house, especially how it showcases inspiring art!

thank you mr. hockney for all the inspiration.
