dear santa, i’ve been really good. all i want for christmas is a beautiful piece of art. a piece by josef albers will do. i’ve always wanted one.

i especially love josef’s series of art called ‘homage to the square.’ there are hundreds of painting and prints in this series that he started in 1949. each painting consists of either three or four squares of solid planes of color nested within one another…….
