since i’m on the topic of blue and green this week, i must do a post on a beautiful garden. i love the image of how the green of a garden connects with the blue of the sky. i can’t think of a garden that paints this picture better than ina garten’s hamptons garden that was just published in the new elle decor, see the entire story here.

this is a bit of how the story goes….It took Garten 10 years to convince her Hamptons neighbors – the Mulfords, one of the area’s oldest families – to sell her the land, where now grows flourishing white dahlias mixed with verbena, boxwood-framed parterres filled with Russian sage, white beach roses, and potted white hydrangea trees, crepe myrtle, ferns and lily of the valley, a vegetable garden adjacent to the house, and more.

ina’s garden is beautiful- don’t you think? also another reminder that blue loves green. enjoy!
