Ware Porter

i was in birmingham, alabama a few weeks ago. i had a wonderful time, what a great city, fabulous homes, splendid architecture and superb shopping.

i was able to browse around the mountain brook area one evening. most of the shops were closed, but i did get to peek into the windows. i came across the home store ware porter. the blue and white awnings and bright blue dutch door had me at hello! then when i looked inside and i saw the blue and white ikat skirted table, the painted striped floors and the striped tented walls, it took all i had not to try and jump threw a window to get a closer look….

thank goodness, i refrained, but the good news, i’ll be back in birmingham in a few weeks. first stop- ware porter.
