Rebecca de Ravenel at Home

i love a lady with style, especially when it’s her own style. rebecca de ravenel, decorator, stylist and jewelry designer, exudes great style.

rebecca was raised in paris and the bahamas, she recently moved to L.A. from nyc. i’m very good friends rebecca and also so inspired by her. it’s not very often you meet someone so young who has her own style, her own aura, her very own look.

this look goes beyond what she wears, you can often see her in a flowing floral peasant dress, hair pulled back in a low chignon, les bonbons dangling and shimmering in her ears, sandals on her tan feet and a straw bag always in hand, it melds into her home and into how she lives.

her new apartment in l.a. is paradise, it was just featured in the most recent issue of domino magazine. you instantly feel like you are somewhere far away, and somewhere very beautiful. the mix of things and the layers are so chic, every nook and cranny is a lesson in style and great taste. the vibrant colors, the playful prints, the textures of the rattan and bamboo, and the whimsy of the unexpected (the giraffe, the paper palms, the rattan elephant) make you feel like you are in paradise.

rebecca’s apartment is just like her personal style, it’s unique, refreshing, inspiring and beautiful…. if you ask me, paradise has been found!
