this past weekend i attended design weekend at lyford cay in the bahamas. the bi-annual event draws design industry leaders to spend time together, share ideas and experience the beauty and style of the lyford cay club.
the event had several panels and discussions. i was invited to speak on a panel about “resort chic” that was moderated by newell turner, editor-in-chief of hearst design group. my fellow panelists were india hicks, alex papachristidis, jane scott hodges and gary mcbournie.
i thought it would be fun to share with all of you the images i used in my presentation. these images define was resort means to me- a mix of inspiring interiors, editorials, gardens, style icons, and fashion, especially mds stripes. you can see a color story as well, blue and white of course. this is what i think is chic- resort chic!
thank you to everyone who made this weekend possible and thank you to the hospitality and the generosity of the lyford community, you truly define “resort chic”.
