i have long been an admirer of michael de perno’s designs and his aesthetic. his los angeles bungalow that was featured not just once, but twice in elle decor many years ago has always been a source of inspiration. there is a simplicity to the rooms he puts together, however, there are a lot of layers and texture, it’s clean and pure, yet enticing and sexy.

michael and i have gotten to know one another. he has moved back and forth from the east coast to the west coat a few times, after l.a. he went back east, then he went to sonoma, now he is back in connecticut.

michael is an interior designer, and an antique dealer….he also used to have a store called ren, that was curated with the most beautiful things….i’m not exactly sure of what he’s up to now, but whatever it is, it’s guaranteed to be authentic and beautiful.

…michael has the best instagram, you must follow, his photos tell his story much better than i can..take a look…as you can see he has impeccable taste, a refined eye and he surrounds himself always with natural beauty.
