this past weekend i saw the most wonderful movie called dior and i, a documentary on raf simons and his first couture collection at christian dior.

the movie captures the process, the artistry, the intensity and the beauty of couture…it also takes a look into the magnitude of designing for the house of dior…

raf simmons first journey is a delight to witness…he has so much respect for christian dior and it’s heritage…it’s also interesting to see how he melds his own style and his take on modernity into the collection and the show…

the movie is based around the fall 2012 couture show…you feel like you are there…it’s emotional, it’s inspiring, it’s beautiful.. here are a few of the looks from rafs first dior collection, the focus of dior and i.
