i was first introduced to serena crawford, an interior design and architect from south africa, via paloma contreras’ blog la dolce vita last year/ see post here. i got a little obsessed because serena loves blue and white as much as i do, might i add she loves rattan and wicker too…

then over the last year i went down the social media rabbit hole, following serena on instagram and pinterest, we began to make friendly comments on each other posts…

…then last week i did a post on debby tenquist, about her instagram and her curation of glorious gardens, didn’t know it at the time, but it turns out it’s serena’s sister. serena let me know through a comment on the blog, kinda funny, such a coincidence.

this prompted me to email serena and get to know her even better this weekend. she so kindly sent me more images of her work. there is something really special about it, it’s comfortable, it’s easy, stylish, chic and it’s pretty, and most importantly, as you can see whether it be at the beach, or in town (cape town that is), all of her projects have blue and white around.

enjoy getting know to serena, i have!
