i came across the most amazing photograph of carolyne roehm on pinterest the other day- it had to be from the late 80’s, early 90’s, i love her striped gown and i love that she’s standing so elegantly in a blue and white tiled room… i mean the photograph is everything…

…then i thought for a moment, i’ve seen this room recently. i started going through some back issues of magazines and i found the same house in a recent veranda magazine….i knew i had seen that blue and white tiled room before, it’s not possible that there would be a blue and white tiled room i wouldn’t remember..

the dallas design team of kelli ford and kirsten fitzgibbons designed the home that was in veranda, melanie acevedo photographed it, the great carolyn englefield produced it…..

i have no idea if  carolyne roehm lived in the house, there are some reports she did, or if it was just for a photo shoot, but after some research i know the room was originally tiled by vincent fourcade from an antique panel of portuguese azulejos… i’d like to think carolyne appointed all the blue and white…

…of course she did, as you all know, carolyne loves blue and white as much as i do! enjoy!
