i’ve always been a fan and had much appreciation for artists that do watercolors of interiors and rooms- actually i’m obsessed with this form of art. for many reasons watercolors have been top of mind…more light will be shed on this soon.
i was on pinterst the other day and i saw a watercolor of one of my favorite rooms by one of my favorite decorators, bunny williams– i thought is was extraordinary and so inspiring. i even instagramed it and so it seems lots of others loved it too! then i went down the rabbit hole and here we are….
the watercolor on pinterest led me to architectural digest’s fabulous blog, Daily AD. Daily AD went on to shed light on the artist of the watercolors- mita corsini bland. mita has a fabulous book, sister parish design, that came out in 2009 on the famed decorator. mita is also a contributing editor for veranda magazine and a freelance designer for house beautiful.
…..further down the rabbit hole i found out that all of these watercolors can be purchased on tiger flower studio– i can’t think of a chicer gift, can you? thank goodness i went down the rabbit hole, now i have discovered the most divine holiday gift!
