have you noticed chintz is back? the cotton floral fabrics that is very english, southern, uptown and preppy is cool again. actually i’ve always thought it was cool, not something i want to live with everyday, but i do love it, and i’m especially loving it now!

looks like i’m not the only one loving it, the fashion world loves it too! florals, not necessarily chintz, are all over the streets and was a huge trend during the latest resort 2014 fashion shows.

i can’t think of a better way to celebrate chintz than with a mix of interiors by the “prince of chintz” mario buatta (he is celebrating 50 years of design, his new book is coming out this fall, and his chintz filled interiors just graced the pages of architectural digest) and a few of my favorite resort 2014 collections.

chintz is cool- i think it always has been, and from the look of things everyone else does too!
