actresses, super-models, editor-in-chiefs, fashion designers and a 91 year old fashion icon pretty much summarizes this weeks best dressed ladies (note the word pretty)! lot’s of cocktail dresses, a few tuxedos, more black, even a fur, and a touch of gold pretty much summarizes what they were wearing!

besides sjp, kate the great, gwyneth, my sofia, the legendary iris apfel and model carolyn murphy (i love her in the white tunic dress- that’s chic!) who made the list twice, the week really belongs to fashion designer carolina herrera– let me tell you why!

carolina always looks perfect, she has figured it out! you might think her black gown and emeralds she is wearing on this weeks list you have seen before- well you probably have! when you have style, elegance, grace, superior sophistication, and beauty like hers you can repeat a gown, slick back your hair, wear fabulous jewels over and over, show up time and time again in black- no mistakes, always perfection!

so this week not only about carolinas black satin gown, feathers and emeralds, it’s about always looking chic, glamorous and stylish, having a uniform, the red lips, simply being a lady, always being best dressed- pure perfection!
