last weeks fall 2012 couture shows in paris reminded of a beautiful blooming garden- soft, pretty, manicured, delicate and full of life! a burst of beauty- a couture garden!
the navy blues at valentino, not a surprise my favorite of the collections, reminded me of oscar de la renta’s tulip garden in connecticut, raf simons triumphant first couture collection for christian dior was feminine and refined like a pink peony and giambattista valli’s collection was vibrant like potted red geraniums in paris and sculptured like boxwood topiary’s at Versailles!
who ever says or thinks couture is dead need to take a look at the fall 2012 couture collections! couture is growing, breathing, blooming, full of energy- full of life! welcome to a garden tour of garden couture! enjoy!
