VERANDA VIEW

over the years veranda magazine has become a favorite, especially lately under the direction of editor-in-chief dara caponigro. this past week i got the new book the houses of veranda which is a viewing of some of the best houses veranda has featured over the years- and i have some favorites!

the book has 280 pages of beautiful homes ranging from classic to modern, romantic to serene, all unified by an elegant sense of quality and style, also with a little bit of southern charm!

veranda was founded in 1987 by former editor-in- chief of southern accents magazine  lisa newsom in atlanta, georgia. i’m sure many of you have been in a southern home, there is something special about them. what ever the style they are always comfortable, detailed, finished, lived in and most important, beautiful! maybe that’s why i love veranda magazine and now this book, all is beautiful!

here is a view of  a few of my favorite homes by a few of my favorite interior designers featured in this new book- a must! enjoy a veranda view!
