COBALT AND CHINOISERIE

I’m in high point, north carolina for the spring 2017 furniture market. chinoiserie is a trend. finally a trend i love, one that i embrace always in my design work. actually chinoiserie is one of the themes for my new henredon market set up. i’m on trend i guess.

what i’m loving is chinoiserie mixed with modern art and bold color. as you all know i have a crush on cobalt blue right now, i always will, and i really love it with chinoiserie. it’s my theme right now. it feels fresh, it’s little unexpected, it’s kinda cool, i really love it.

i thought i’d share with you some of my favorite iconic rooms decorated with chinoiserie…i’m throwing in some cobalt blue yves klein art work. he’s the master of cobalt. do you love this mix? i do!
