the most beautiful home i have ever been in is la colina, the home of bunny williams and john rosselli in punta cana. it’s not only beautiful, it’s comfortable. with every turn there’s something extraordinary, but like everything bunny does, there’s an ease to it all.
one kings lane just did a feature on la colina. i loved it. they asked bunny if she had any gems of wisdom. of course she did, here they are. no one does it like bunny.
lesson 1– comfort is the best foundation.
lesson 2– always make room for your treasures.
lesson 3– play up pairs and sets.
lesson 4– let your surroundings inspire your palette.
lesson 5– practice the art of a lush table.
lesson 6– get big and sumptuous outdoors
i think i’ll add a lesson to this too…lesson 7– always make it beautiful! i know bunny would concur!
take a tour of la colina and do some shopping here, and for more on la colina, you must get bunny’s new book a house by the sea. it’s magical. i love this book for so many reasons, one is that michael and i were visiting when the book was photographed by francesco lagnese…if you look close you will see me on the golf cart, in the pool and you can’t miss my shoes.
