RED MY WAY

i don’t know if you have noticed but every monday for the last eight weeks i’ve been highlighting a chapter, a theme or color story from my new book, new york times best seller, beautiful: all-american decorating and timeless style….this week it’s all about red.

chapter 8 is called “red my way”, and it’s exactly that, it’s all about the way i like red. i like red to be glamorous and daring, i like it mixed with robin’s egg blue, or any color of blue for that matter.

i love a red valentino dress, an important piece of red abstract art, and pierre frey’s braquenie tree of life fabric in red is my forever favorite fabric. i love a red check, a potted red amaryllis, and a red bow.

i can’t believe the holidays are already upon us, and we all know red is the color of the season. so as we celebrate joy, love and giving this season, we have to also celebrate red, especially when it’s red my way. happy holidays!!!
