The Met Gala 2016

SPECIAL EDITION- SEQUINS AND CUT-OUTS

tonight was the met gala, the biggest night in fashion. i have to say there were some “wow” moments. some great, some not so great, some shocking (madonna should have stayed home), some beautiful….

there were also some trends- dark lips, cut-outs, sequins, short dresses, combat boots….like i said, “some great, some not so great”….there was a lot of silver, i think that had something to do with the the theme of technology and the future.

i had a few favorites. the lsd wins for me always even before she shows up. she’s always best dressed, always that perfect mix of classic and cool, chic and edge- adore her style.

then there was model karlie kloss in brandon maxwell. she showed up in a white evening coat, then underneath was a cut-out sheath, this was not only the best look of the night, it was a look into the future.

who was your best dressed? take a look at all the looks here.
