I arrived in paris yesterday and i think most of the parisians are still away vacationing…i think everyone heads to the south of france….
when i think of the ultimate south of france get-a-way i think of hubert de givenchy’s home le clos fiorentina. fiorentina is a provencal farmhouse built in the 18th century on the pointe saint-hospice, at the tip of the cap ferrat. i’ve blogged about la fiorentina before, see more here.
this house is my ideal. it defines casual elegance, rumor is that great bunny mellon helped decorate the residence (you can see the influence). i love the neutral slipcovered living room and the wicker clad pool house. blue and white is abundant. there is such restraint and so much beauty.
i’ve started following johny unis on instagram, i think john is a realtor, not sure. his instagrams are very informative, he takes you on a tour of some of the most beautiful places in the world and educates you on the way…
recently john he did a series on le clos fiorentina. it reminded me that without question this home is my ideal…what i perfect time to celebrate it again while i’m in france. enjoy!
