EVERYTHING REMAINS THE SAME

for the past 6 months i’ve been working on a redesign of my blog and interior design site, actually it’s just an update, however, the time has come, it’s finally here…i hope you enjoy it…

of course for the last few weeks i’ve been trying to think about what i would post on this very exciting day…blue and white came to mind, as did stripes, maybe a garden exploding with boxwoods, something about oscar or bill blass would have been appropriate, it might have made the most sense to do a post on my favorite couple bunny williams and john rosselli…

i’ve been in nashville visiting my friends bo and sarah bartholomew the last few days. sarah and i have so much in common, every time i’m with her i feel inspired- we both love beautiful things. we drive around and look at architecture and gardens, we sit around and thumb through endless stacks of magazines and book, and we’ve been known to throw around a few fabrics and some paint decks…

sarah has the most beautiful inspiration boards in her office made up tear sheets of inspiring quotes, divine interiors, magical editorials, magnificent architecture, and style icons. today it dawned on me as i studied these mood boards, that these beautiful images and the way they are curated truly represent what this blog has always been about…

…it’s about chic people, glamorous places, and stylish things, and it always will be because it’s what i find inspiring, there really isn’t anything profound or revolutionary about any of it, it’s really just about making everything beautiful!

i started the blog in 2011, almost four years ago, truly, i can say it’s the best decision i ever made. this little thing has given me so much joy. i have met so many people that i would have never gotten to know, so many amazing friendships have been formed. i see the world a bit differently now, my eyes have opened wider and so has my heart…somethings change, in this case, they get a little updated, but really everything remains the same.
