one of may favorite houses of all time is hubert de givenchy’s home le clos fiorentina on the cote d’azur. probably the oldest house on the french mediterranean, it was built in 1815. i’ve blogged about this house, as well as, the book givenchy style several times already. i thought i had seen all the images out there of this amazing home, but i guess i had not. here are a few more i found this weekend on pinterest.
the images took me to the blog the art of the room, by interior designer christopher worthland. i learned so much more about le clos. i had no idea that it had previously been owned by rory cameron, one of the chicest men ever. then it was owned by the schlumberger’s for a brief time and decorated at the time by david hicks. please read christopher worthland’s post here. somewhere in between billy baldwin did some legendary decorating- more on that soon.
you have to love pinterest and the rabbit hole it some times take you on, especially when you learn more and discover more images of one of the most beautiful homes ever! enjoy!
