first, sorry this post is a bit late, i usually do my ‘week of chic’ best dressed list on saturdays, however, yesterday i was traveling, running around like crazy, didn’t get to it, but here it is now!

also, i’m aware that some of these looks  might have been a bit more than a week ago. well, cut me some slack, lately i haven’t quite known what day it is or even what week i’m in for that matter.

if you have been following the spring 2014 shows you know that pale pink and crop tops are two of the hottest trends. crop tops not so easy to pull off, but model magdalena shows us how to pull it off and look chic doing it. for this she get’s honors.

there were a lot of pretty dresses on this weeks list, love gwyneth in lanvin, the lsd in wes gordon, natalie portman in dior, however, they weren’t quite as pretty as sarah jessica parkers custom gown by prabal gurung and olivier theyskens (not quite sure how they collaborated on dress, i think one did the top and one the skirt?) that she wore to the opening night of the nyc ballet.

i can’t think of anything prettier than ballet pink for the ballet! so deserving of best dressed even if it is a bit late- enjoy!

Lauren Santo Domingo in Wes Gordon

Diane Kruger in Pajama Top and Cut-offs- love the Hermès bag!

Jessica Alba in pale pink Ralph Lauren

Bianca Brandolini In Dolce & Gabbana

Sienna Miller also in Dolce and Gabbana

Alicia Vikander in Barbara Casasola

OscarPRGirl. Erica Bearman, on the left, in Oscar of course! love her new dark hair.

Amanda Cutter Brooks- can’t go wrong with a chunky ivory sweater and skinny black pants.

Natalie Portman at the NYC Ballet in Dior

Gwyneth in Lanvin

Model Magdalena Frackowiak in the trend of the season a crop top. she somehow makes it look easy and chic- love the céline espadrilles too of course!

‘week of chic’ best dressed, SJP going to the ballet in a ballet pink gown by both prabal gurung and oliver theyskens.
