checks- a trend that started at the spring 2013 collections, most notably Louis vuitton, is taking the streets by storm. everywhere you look, everyone is in checks! i don’t know about you, but i not only like checks in my interiors- i like to wear them too!

here are a few of my favorite looks, although a little more traditional and subtle than the mod louis vuitton checks. checks in all sizes and all types- plaids, glen-plaids, buffalo checks and houndstooths. checked coats, blazers, suits, hats, pants and scarves. My absolute personal favorite way to wear my brown and camel checked blazer is with a long sleeve striped saint- james tee, chinos and my converse all-stars.

it doesn’t look like the check trend that started in spring is going away anytime too soon. the fall 2013 collections were check crazed too! tommy hilfiger’s whole collection was checked, prada’s as well, and stella mccartney and céline, two of my favorite designers, played with checks and plaids too.

spring will be here soon, therefore i had to get my checked winter blazers and jacket post to you sooner than later- checks for you and checks for your mates too!

for more of my favorite things like white jeans, stripes, navy blazers, chambray and chinos take a look at my archives here. enjoy!
