One of my favorite things about a new year is award season. January and February are always packed full of red carpets and glamorous ladies wearing the most recent gowns from the couture and ready to wear collections. since the 70th annual golden globes are next weekend i thought it would be fun to take a stroll down memory lane- a special edition best dressed list.

you’ll see some of my favorite ladies in some of my favorite gowns over the years. lanvin, oscar de la renta, nina ricci and calvin klein dresses each show up on this list a few times, as does julianne moore. how could she not? she always looks gorgeous on the red carpet. and i guess i like a white shirt for an awards show, because a few of them top my list.

speaking of top of the list, how appropriate to have a little yellow since it is the golden globes, and a white blouse! one of my favorite red carpet looks of all time on one of the chicest ladies in hollywood- a golden moment! enjoy!
