so i have this saying, actually it’s my motto, my platform, my gospel and it’s simple- “just be pretty!” and this week’s best dressed list is just that- pretty!

It felt like spring with all the florals, pastels, the white, the ruffles, the details on all the dresses and gowns on this weeks best dressed ladies- yes, like i said lot’s of dresses! The ficus green backdrop at the CFDA/ Vogue Fashion Fund Awards helped make the scene pretty! And all the Carolina Herrera confections at the Appollo Circle Benefit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art made pretty the trend of the week!

i was interviewed this week by apartment therapy about my design business and a little about the blog (see here). As always my favorite women was a hot topic of conversation, therefore, Vanessa Traina, Meredith Melling Burke and need i say it, Lauren Santo Domingo were the source of the chit chat, and ironically they are all the source of this week’s pretty!

the queen of pretty, probably could be in the best dress of the year, keira knightley (i can’t wait to see her new movie Anna Karenina today) absolutely reigned supreme on this weeks best dressed list in a mint green erdem gown of the ages. she literally took my breath away and completely proves that my motto, my platform,  my gospel of “just be pretty” is always best! keep it simple, when in doubt always be- just pretty!
