i did a post a few weeks ago on jamb, the chic london based company who makes mantles, lanterns and furniture to die for! literally!

well here’s a little more to die for! the south london home of will fisher, the owner of jamb, photographed by simon upton for the world of interiors earlier this year. the premise of the story was that will was having to relocate his huge showroom on pimlico road (the one i wandered into years ago) to a smaller space. the time was right to do a sale at christies!

well, before they were about to sell off their mass collection that had been the inspiration for jamb’s  reproduction lines a photo shoot with twoi was in order. the home was curated with  a george II verde-antico-and- marble mantle, english and irish antique furniture, lighting, zoological oddities, paintings, sculptures, architectural fragments and garden statuary- to die for!

will is quoted by saying, “the sale isn’t an ending, it’s a beginning.” can you imagine parting with all these gorgeous treasures?  i can’t! i’d leave it jamb packed- so chic!
