MAJORCA MOOD

my obsession with Spain continues- i’m in a Majorca mood!

well i’m always in a Michael s.smith mood-this gorgeous home he designed in Majorca is nothing short of fabulous! he does it again! the house photographed by simon upton a few years ago for the world of interiors is one of my favorite homes!

here is why- i love the large living room with two seating areas separated by a large dining table, i love the authentic blue and white fabrics by artensania textil bujosa and i love the colorful alhambra-style tiles lining the kitchen walls.

there is more to love- i love the four poster antque beds in the bedrooms, the local textiles dressing the beds, the beautiful prints and patterns on the walls, the apple matting rugs, the blue palette throughout with pops of red- lot’s to love!

but what i love most about this house is that it is a new structure made to look old, authentic, established, charming- that’s just michael s. smith doing what he does best! time and time again!

and if all of that wasn’t enough, who wouldn’t love all the beautiful bright bougainvillea! i’m in the mood- again!
