MARISA MAGIC- Marisa Berenson

marisa berenson– model, actress, society darling- it girl of the 70’s, the face of fashion, a glittering life- what i call marisa magic!

born into priviledge, vittoria marisa schiaparelli berenson was never to far from a camera lense. her christening pictured by irving penn was published in american vogue. at 16 she was discovered by vogue editor, diana vreeland. she went on to a very successful modeling career photographed by all the best photographers over the last 5 decades. what i call model magic!

legendary filmmaker luchino visconti set her movie career in motion with the movie, death in venice. she went on to get a golden globe nomination for her performance in bob fosse’s 1972 production of cabaret. she worked with stanley kubrick’s and ryan o’neal in barry lyndon, miss piggy in the muppet show, and clint eastwood  in white hunter black heart. most recently, she starred and captivated the screen in one of my favorite movies of all time, i am love. what i call movie magic!

marisa’s personal life was also legendary. she held court at studio 54 and was a symbolic sex icon of the 70’s.  she dated actors terence stamp, sam shepard and kevin kline, musician bryan ferry, surfers, race car drivers, playboys and billionaires. what i call man magic!

model, actress, society darling- golden girl transformed into a golden woman! still gorgeous, still acting, still glamorous! do you believe in magic? i do, marisa magic!
